Irena Übler
Irena Übler (Munich, 1985) - Austrian-German industrial designer, completed a Masters in Industrial Design at the FH Joanneum Graz University of Applied Sciences, Austria (2006-2010). She has been based in Porto, Portugal since 2011 and develops creative work in the area of product design, design thinking and creative tourism.She has been working with sustainable materials and explores the world of plastic waste as a precious raw material. She envisions and implements emerging artistic perspectives linking human identity and design.
Irena works as an independent designer for different companies and brands with a focus on bespoke and customized product and furniture design.
